We’re online! Finally, the Snapper’s website is back in action. After being hacked into over a year ago we finally found the resources to get our web site up and running. The url address is www.thesnapper.com. Our website offers a lot of great features that make it easy for our readers to communicate with us.
On such things as:

  • Letters to the Editor: If you would like to submit a letter to the editor there is a link that will allow you to do so. All the same guidelines apply as if you were going to send to us through email or handwritten. We generally would like them to be kept under 300 words.
  • Stories ideas: If there is anything going on on campus that should be covered or would be a good story idea, the idea can be submitted via the site. There is the ability for an anonymous tip to be sent in as well.
  • Applying to work for the Snapper: We are always looking for new writers and staff members. Applications are available on the website and can be sent in electronically from the site. This is probably the best way to apply to do work for the Snapper; however, that doesn’t mean you can’t stop down and see us in our office.
  • Photo Galleries: Saw a picture in the paper you liked? More pictures will be available for viewing on the site.

The site will host the newest articles published by the Snapper, as well as older articles.

The site also allows readers to view articles by the same author as well as comment on the articles. We eventually hope to start publishing comments from our website as part of our opinion section in the paper. We would like to encourage our readers to visit the website and share any ideas on what else we could add as we would love to hear about them. We are very excited to be back on the web and look forward to interacting with our readers through the web.

A message from the Webmaster:

Thank you all for visiting the site! I’ve put in many hours of work to get this site to its current stage but it’s not done yet! Keep an eye on the site for updates throughout the week, and let me know what you think! Also, if you have any interest in helping me out, please send me an email.
