Relay against cancer
This year’s Relay for Life will be April 18-19, hosted by the University’s chapter of Colleges Against Cancer. Teams must be made up of 8-15 people. The teams will stay overnight and take turns walking the track at Pucillo Gymnasium. All proceeds raised will go to the American Cancer Society. Town meeting with Spector
Millersville University will host a town meeting with U.S. Senator Arlen Spector (R-Pa.) on Feb. 23, at 11:15 a.m. in the Student Memorial Center’s Multipurpose Room. There will be a time for a question and answer session.

Millersville to host Governor Ed Rendell’s press conference
On Feb. 26, Millersville will host a press conference for the governors proposed “tuition relief plan.” President McNairy will be joined by Governor Rendell and the Present of Millersville Council of Trustees, Mike Warfel. The proposed plan will help undergraduate resident students that are enrolled in any of the 14 PASSHE schools. The program would be paid for by the legalization of video poker.
