The Snapper’s website is about to go through some major changes.

Some of these changes will be behind the scenes, but a majority of them are aimed at making the site both more interactive and user friendly.

Starting today, The Snapper will be hosting public forums and polls, as well as staff blogs and guest columns.

The new forums and blogs can be reached at www.TheSnapper.com/forums.

Also, the site will be having a major facelift over the next few weeks, so keep an eye out for the new site design!

In addition to this, The Snapper is now publishing its print issues as eEditions on the Snapper website.

These eEditions are essentially online versions of the paper that have the same layout as the printed version.

This is great for those of us who enjoy reading the newspaper, but like the convenience of the internet. The eEditions can be found at www.TheSnapper.com/eEditions.

Some changes that our readers may not see include a new, almost completely online work flow. This online workflow will eventually allow for copy editors to work remotely.

Also, we will continue to solicit your tips and story ideas on the website. You can also send a letter to the editor this way too.

Lastly, the Snapper website is now mobile friendly.

Simply point your phone’s web browser to www.TheSnapper.com to view a special version of the site designed specifically for mobile phones. This is a great way to get your Millersville news on the go!

As always, if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions about the site, feel free to contact us at webfeedback@thesnapper.com.
