I take back my Mark Sanchez comments made before the season. He looks as advertised and the Jets look like contenders.

Their portly head coach sure knows how to cook up a confusing defensive front. What is up with New England? Tom Brady clearly is not comfortable in the pocket yet and is not stepping into his throws.

They should really be 0-2 if it were not for the unsafe paws of Leodis Mckelvin. Speaking of the Bills they look pretty good. Trent Edwards has a grasp on the no huddle offense and the defense looks active and aggressive.

Miami is sputtering. They looked lackluster in week one, and despite playing probably as well as they could in week two, they lost.

Baltimore looks like the best team in the AFC North. The drubbing of the Chiefs was expected, but beating San Diego on the road was very impressive.

For those who forgot, Ray Lewis is still awesome. Pittsburgh is missing Troy Polamalu, those head and shoulders commercials must stop, but they will definitely be around come January.

The Bengals do not look like the Bengals, as they really should be 2-0 if not for Brandon Stokely. Cedric Benson finally looks like the fourth overall pick he was.

Cleveland looks like Cleveland St. University, Brady Quinn or Derek Anderson – what does it matter?

What a surprise, Indianapolis is 2-0 and Peyton Manning is unreal. How is it possible to win a game despite having less than 15 minutes of time of possession? Tennessee 0-2?

Definitely did not see this coming, Haynesworth is obviously a big loss, but where is the secondary? Matt Schaub and the Texans were the beneficiary of the Titans’ defensive woes so far.

Is he finally going to stay healthy and be productive? Looks like it. Jacksonville not much of a surprise here. Mr. Del Rio, remember my suit comment? Act accordingly.

I am sickened by the fact that Denver is 2-0. This has to be the worst 2-0 team in history. Fear not Josh McDaniels haters, a 5-11 season still looks pretty possible.

San Diego as usual has so much talent and no results. If not for a late game drive in week one, they would be 0-2. Norv Turner, congrats, you are still the worst coach in football. Kansas City had more offensive production without Matt Cassell in the lineup, go figure. Still a few years and players away.

I am finally sold on Eli Manning, this man is great in the clutch. He is making the young receiving core look like competent vets and he may have found his number one in Mario Manningham.

It is seldom you will hear this, but I feel for Philly fans. Stewart Bradley is out for the year, Shawn Andrews is also out for the year, now Mcnabb is on the shelf for a few weeks, talk about bad luck.

I think we will still see the Birds playing late in January, though. Dallas looked good offensively in the first two weeks but the D got torched by Eli in week two. When will Romo win a close/big game?

The Skins personified “ugly win” in week 2 with a disgusting 9-7 win, Jim Zorn is flirting with Norv Turner’s title.

Sadly, Brett Favre looks like he is on his way to a division crown and it is not because of him. Adrian Peterson is unreal. Green Bay’s defense looks good in stretches, but I am curious as to how they gave up 31 to the Bengals.

Aaron Rodgers and company should be fine on offense. Jay Cutler and the Bears pulled off a huge win over Pittsburg in week two, but if not for Jeff Reed looking inebriated and missing two field goals, they’d be 0-2. Detroit – yeah, nothing much to say.

Is Drew Brees unreal or what? That offensive defines dynamic and it looks like it does not matter if they field a JV squad as a defense.

Averaging 40+ points offensively will get the job done pretty much any week. Atlanta picked up right where they left off. Monday Night Football may have its best game of the year on November 2 when these two teams face off.

It looks like the Jake Delhomme era needs to come to an end. He and the Panthers look pretty bad so far. I think they will come around at some point this year and push for a wild card, though.

Tampa Bay looks brutal. They play hard and its good to see Byron Leftwich starting though, a real tough guy.

Mike Singletary is my early favorite for coach of the year. He has his troops playing 60 minute football, and he has done what I do not think anybody else could, he has Shaun Hill in first place.

Seattle is another team I feel for, I really thought they could contend for a division crown this year. However, if Matt Hasselback can not stay on the field, it is merely a pipe dream.

I think it is safe to say Kurt Warner shrugged off a poor week one showing, wouldn’t you? 24-26 is unreal. Look for Arizona to put together a nice stretch.

St. Louis still looks like the front runner for the first pick this year. Rams fans better hope either Sam Bradford, Jevan Snead, or Colt Mccoy looks snazzy in St. Louis.
