Despite a valiant effort, the Marauders failed to catch up.

Men’s soccer played against the Davis and Elkins Senators of West Virginia. The Marauders held possession for most of the game but Davis and Elkins managed to capitalize on plays by finding weaknesses in the Millersville defense, earning them a 3-1 win.
The first score of the game went to the Senators in the 36th minute of play when a loose ball was tapped in the goal after the Marauders were unable to clear a corner kick. Millersville came back in the 45th minute of the first half when Zack Caracciolo, No. 10, took a pass from Jeramey Robbins, No. 17, and scored.
Millersville’s defense had a large number of turnover plays and general mistakes that led to Davis and Elkins scoring 2 more goals before the end of the game. This was the second non-conference game Millersville has lost this season, and they have one more against District of Columbia before PSAC games begin.
The Marauders will host District of Columbia Monday, Sept. 17, at 7 p.m. and then start PSAC play against California University of Pennsylvania at California on Sept. 19.
