The Lady Marauders all finished within minutes of their peers.

Out of the twelve teams competing at Lock Haven on Saturday, the women’s cross country team finished in eighth place in their fourth race of the season. To no surprise, Brittney Martin and Sarah Mulvey were yet again the top two finishers for Millersville. They managed to place back-to-back rankings with Martin finishing 23rd, and Mulvey finishing 24th.
Martin’s finishing time was 23:59, while Mulvey clocked in close behind at 24:03. Other Lady Marauders who had impressive scores were Amanda Long, Elizabeth Reese, and Kayla Naughton. Long placed 53rd with a time of 25:40, Reese finished at 58th at 25:55, and Naughton finished in 60th with a time of 26:06. Sarah Fink and Emily Leighow both finished right behind Naughton in 61st and 62nd place with times of 26:11 and 26:16. Though neither of them scored, they finished just outside Millersville’s top five.
The Lady Marauders prepare for their next competition, the Paul Short Invitational at Lehigh University, this coming Friday beginning at 1 p.m.
