With the win, the Marauders improve to 2-0 in the PSAC.

On Saturday night, Millersville men’s soccer senior forward Matt Kadoch scored the only goal of the game to solidify Millersville’s PSAC victory over Shippensburg. The Marauders and Raiders were evenly matched holding each other to a scoreless first half.  In the second, both teams came out strong offensively. Millersville’s keeper Brad Benzing had three consecutive saves in the 65th through 67th minute to retain the 0-0 score. Ten minutes later, junior forward Andrew Dukes played a through ball from the 20 to Kadoch. The Marauder’s sole senior took a few touches and beat Shippensburg’s keeper to secure Millersville’s victory, 1-0.  Millersville (5-2, 2-0 PSAC) and Shippensburg (1-4-2, 0-1-1 PSAC) accrued a collective eight yellow cards, four per team, and the most in a single game this season for the Marauders. The Marauders will travel to Gannon on Friday, Sept. 28 for a 2 p.m. game.
