After a tough draw, Millersville’s defense failed to stop four goals from the CalU offense.

On Wednesday, Sept. 19, the Lady Marauder’s soccer team hit the road, traveling to California University of Pennsylvania to take on the Vulcans. They were unable to pull out a win; the game ended in a 5-1 loss.
The Lady Marauders scored the first goal of the game. Leading scorer Kristen Lepley scored the only goal for the Marauders in the 11th minute, which was only the second goal given up by the Vulcans this season.
Afterward, it became clear the Vulcans were not going to let that goal affect them. They scored 4 goals in the first half, and a fifth in the second half. The Lady Marauder keepers, Olivia Webber and Erica Roth, each had three saves in the game. After the Vulcans defeated the Marauders, their overall record stood at 5-1.
This was the lady Marauders third PSAC loss. Their overall record now stands at 3-3.
