Last Thursday, April 11th, the Student Senate decided that we will be raising $200 for the Seton Hill Lacrosse team by purchasing wristbands for all senators. The social work organization was granted an emergency allocation to help them attend the legislative advocacy day. The student activity fee budget was passed, and the appeals process will begin soon. We talked about what would happen in the case of an organization dissolving, and where the funds would end up. There will be more information to come from this, as Senate is going to keep deliberating on this issue. Lastly, Student Senate talked about our action plan moving forward regarding Gov. Corbett coming to commencement, and how we are going to facilitate a peaceful plan for dissent.
