Women’s cross-country finished their season on Saturday in Lock Haven, finishing 15th out of 22 teams at the Division II Atlantic Division meet. Running for the last time this season, the Lady Marauders’ top five runners finished 15th, 72nd, 92nd, 100th and 109th.
Freshman and Lancaster native Shannon Cruz finished 15th for the Marauders with a time of 21:30.9, posting the third best time in Millersville history and receiving All-Region honors. Abigail Daley placed 72nd with a personal-best time of 22:49.4. Megan Meyer was 92nd, crossing the finish soon after with a career-best time of 23:26.3. Sophomore Amanda Long also had a personal-best time of 23:45.6, finishing in 100th place. Brittany Martin was the end of the Millersville scorers, finishing 109th with a time of 24:10.4.
In first place was the team from Edinboro. Mansfield came in second, and Indiana (Pa.) came in third. Both Edinboro and Mansfield had four runners within the top 20. Edinboro was led by Sarah Krolick and Kasey Jones. They came in second and seventh place, respectively.
Senior runner Victoria Davis from Bloomsburg came in first place in the meet with a time of 20:45.0.
