The Millersville University concert committee is pleased to announce that Panic! At the Disco will be the main event for this year’s spring concert. This also marks the first move in a new partnership established between the concert committee and Jeremy Weiss, owner of the Chameleon Club and organizer of the Launch Music Conference & Festival.

The concert will take place on April 17th, the first night of the Launch Conference and will be held in Freedom Hall of the Convention Center in downtown Lancaster. Also performing on the same stage as Panic! At the Disco includes The Casual E, a local Millersville University-based band; Last Scene in Reno; Carousel Kings, both of which appeared at last year’s conference; and Kingsfoil, who have become famous for being actor Frankie Muniz’s new band. There will be a variety of other MU based groups performing at this year’s Launch Festival including Kid Cousin, the Best Nauticals, Crisscross Albatross, and Auroras.

For Millersville Students interested in attending this show, listen up. The doors for the show will open at 6pm and the show will kick off around 6:30pm. Tickets will be $5 with a student ID and $22 without one. Tickets are also available in the SMC box office starting Tuesday, March 11. These student tickets also come with a free Launch Conference Badge, which grants you access to most of the other performances and panel discussions. Finally, if you need transportation from campus to the city, fret not. There will be free bus transportation being provided for students between 5:30pm and 1:30am.
