The first match saw the team traveling to West Chester defeat the Rams in straight sets for the first time since 2005, collecting their first PSAC win of the season in the process. West Chester did put up quite a fight in the first set by tying 11 times, and challenging Millersville with seven lead changes. Of those 11 ties, seven came in the first 20 points before the Rams took a 15-10 advantage. The Marauders fought back for three more ties, then scored the final two points to take the set. Millersville remained on the road Saturday by traveling to Cope Hall to take on Cheyney (1-11, 0-6). The Marauders swept Cheyney with scores of 25-14, 25-11 and 25-13, while averaging a season-high .393 hitting percentage that afternoon. Senior Mary Paul helped Millersville improve to 39-0 versus the Wolves by striking 11 kills with just one error on her 17 swings—which gave her an astounding .588 hit percentage. Biggins also worked defensively with Brooklyn Smith to add nine digs apiece.

The Lady Marauders will hope to continue their road winning when they travel to Shippensburg Tuesday.
