As the fantasy season winds down and we are in to the final stretch in the final 2 weeks I wanted to write an article on who would be great candidates to pick up down the stretch for the next few weeks and even the playoff run. There are tons of guys I like in the next few weeks but some of these guys are owned in tons of fantasy leagues so I don’t want to state the obvious players we all know that are going to be solid for the run.

Joique Bell- Bell has been hit or miss the last couple of weeks with the emergence of Theo Riddick and Reggie Bush coming back from his latest injury. I like Bell to contribute down the stretch as Detroit plays the likes of Tampa Bay and Chicago as well as Minnesota. He could be huge in the playoffs for any team looking for a pick up.

Isiah Crowell- The Browns have done the running back by committee all season, and it is just getting more and more annoying by the week. I love the fact that they use a three-back set, but it is getting ridiculous now. I like Crowell down the stretch, as Ben Tate is not the answer. Every time we think Terrence West is going to break out and be the guy, Crowell gets the ball.

Buc’s RB Charles Sims has jumped Rainey and Martin on the depth chart.

Charles Sims- A lot of people may not like Sims from the Bucs, with how their season has gone, but now that they have gotten everyone back, they are beginning to be relevant in the fantasy atmosphere. Mike Evans just posted 200 yards and Josh McCown is finally back to form. With the fact of Sims being given more carries then Bobby Rainey last week and Doug Martin just about gone, no reason to not take a shot on Sims and ride him down the stretch with a team that is picking it up.
Allen Hurns- A lot of people may hate Hurns because he has produced well in a few weeks of work. I like to find deep sleepers and surprises no one knows about. Hurns may be the guy very soon with the end of the year injury to Allen Robinson. Blake Bortles has to throw the ball somewhere and with not many other options, Hurns may be the guy again.

Coby Fleener- Fleener had yet another game this week vs. a Patriot defense that isn’t very good against tight ends. With the injury to Dwayne Allen and the emergence of Fleener for two straight weeks, I think he could be the guy that helps the Colts clinch a top spot down the stretch. Andrew Luck loves to throw the ball and why not to his former Stanford Cardinal Tight End.

Ryan Mallett- A lot of people like the kid from the Patriots; I am one of them. He looked solid against the Browns last week, and looks like the real deal with some great arm strength. With a great schedule down the stretch that includes the Jaguars and Titans, I love to see Mallett come playoff time in any league that is in dire need of a solid quarterback that may put up solid numbers.

Titans D/ST- I love love love this team down the stretch for defense. This team is good if you are looking for a team go help you out and get you points in any league. They play both the Jets and Jaguars in the final two weeks of the season. With the mistakes of both teams, expect a lot to happen with Tennessee that may make them a solid start in the playoffs. I know I will be picking them up this week.
