I’d like to clarify statements made in the article, 67 organizations frozen by CSIL. Student organizations are required to complete an annual registration process, which includes completing the online registration on Get Involved, submitting a signed Advisor Agreement Form and attending the Student Organization Leadership Conference or eight Marauder’s Lead sessions. Student organizations that only attended part of the Student Organization Leadership Conference need to complete four Marauder’s Lead sessions. Student organizations that do not complete the registration process are not granted student organization privileges.
Student organization leaders were informed about the “mandatory” Student Organization Leadership Conference via a Get Involved message (which goes to student’s Millersville email, unless the student has changed their settings) on April 7 and Aug. 27. In addition, registration for the conference was embedded in the online registration and an email was sent to registrants on Sept. 9. Advisors also received communication about the conference on Aug. 6, Aug. 27 and Sept. 8.
