2015 PSAC champion, Shannon Weber is officially transferring from Millersville to Kutztown after this semester.

Weber is transferring closer to home due to her changing majors from meteorology to sports management. Millersville offers a design your own major which would have allowed her to study sports management here but Weber decided to take her talents to KU due to them having an accredited sports management program.

“My decision was solely based off my future and what I want to do with my career. I want people to know it is not based on the athletics here because I am going to miss my team and the coaches here,” Weber said about her transferring to KU. “If Millersville would have had a fully accredited sports management major I would have stayed here.”

As for her golf career the defending PSAC Champion will not play the spring semester at MU. She will be forced to take sometime away from the game she loves. Since her waiver and appeal were denied she will have to sit out next season at KU.

“This was the hardest decision I had to make and it will be sad to leave but I know I am doing what is best for me,” Weber mentioned about her tough transfer decision.

Although at some point she will face the Lady Marauders again during her golf career. She is also close with Danielle Greene, who was once one half of what was
