Millersville University’s art and design professors shared their work at the Ware Center in Lancaster City during First Friday.
The artwork was done in many mediums including painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, metal and jewelry. The professors showcasing work included Leslie Gates, Shauna Frischkorn and Line Bruntse. The gallery held a mix of mediums and the room was full of all types of art on the walls and floor.
Current photography student, Rachel Keslosky, was excited to see her professors’ own personal works.
“I see my professors as role models and inspirations, so being able to see what they have accomplished is not only cool but it encourages me to better my skills and ideas.”
The professors were at the Ware Center with their work from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. This event gave Millersville students and the community the chance to see the work of current Millersville faculty.
