Rosewater (2T)
Sugar (2c)
Water (1c)
Juice of Lemons (3T)
Rosewater (T1)

Pastry Instructions:
7-8 layers dough (butter   each sheet lightly). A row of nuts. 7-8 layers dough. A row of nuts. Rest of dough on top. Cut into diamond shapes. Pour remaining butter on top. 300˚, about 45 minutes.
Syrup Instructions:
Bring to boil sugar and water. Add juice of lemons at boil point. Boil 20 to 30 minutes then add rosewater. Simmer 1 minute. Pour cooled syrup over warm pastry.
