The Millersville Equestrian Team had an amazing show weekend. On October 29-30, the Millersville Equestrian Team showed at the Penn State IHSA show against several schools such as Penn State Main, Penn State Harrisburg, Penn State Altoona, Gettysburg College, Bucknell University, Wilson College, Lycoming College, Dickinson University, Lebanon Valley College, and Susquehanna University. The Millersville Equestrian Team was small with four riders, compared to the Penn State Equestrian Team which had 60 riders. But Millersville proved that size isn’t all that matters. Rider Megan McGee took home two 3rd place ribbons in her Novice Over Fences classes and a 3rd and 4th place ribbon in her Novice Flat classes. Rider Regan McMinn took home a 3rd place ribbon in her Novice Over Fences class and two 3rd place ribbons in her Novice Flat classes. Rider Miranda Snyder took home a 2nd place ribbon in her Beginner Walk/ Trot/Canter class. Last, but certainly not least, rider Toni Marrero took home a 1st and 6th place ribbon in her Beginner Walk/Trot/Canter classes. The Millersville Equestrian Team wants to thank their amazing coach Heidi Douts and invite their fellow classmates to come cheer them on this Saturday, November 5, at their show at Wilson College.
