Rock bands bring Club de'Ville to life

The party scene was in full swing on Friday, Feb. 20, leaving the campus deserted. The Club de ‘Ville was having its own party in the form of a rock concert. There, a fairly large crowd gathered to see Goodbye Sunrise and Composure, the two performing bands. Both bands lit up the Club de ‘Ville with incredibly well-written songs that take a departure from most of today’s music.

Actors bring originality to Shakespeare on MU stage

You either love him or hate him, but chances are, even if you consider yourself in the latter group, you will enjoy a little Shakespeare in Rafters Theatre. The Two Gentlemen of Verona is the newest Shakespeare installment to come to Millersville University. The play is being done in its original language, but the stage and costumes are given a 70s feel.

It seems like everyone is reading Scott Pilgrim these days, and everyone who isn’t, should be. With the movie in production with an all-star cast and crew announced including Edgar Wright as director and Michael Cera as Scott Pilgrim, people are getting excited about this comic book. Brian Lee O’Malley tells the story of a 24-year-old Canadian boy who tries to get things right, but more often than not gets them wrong.

MUGC welcomes new members with open arms

The Millersville University Gospel Choir (MUGC) is the perfect group to join for anyone looking to express themselves through singing. The MUGC has approximately 20 members, both male and female. MUGC President, Amanda Patterson, Vice President Karnesa Ray and Treasurer Irvin Rivera all welcome new members. The group meets once a week on Wednesday evening from 9p.m. to 11p.m. in room 210 of Chryst Hall.

Walking into the theatre, I was really excited for the movie Push. But to my demise, the movie started out slow. It was hard to swallow all the surreal things people could do. The movie starts off with young Nick, the main character being advised by his dad.
