Smoking still a hot topic

Many students on campus continue to smoke without realizing the stance that Millersville has taken on the Pennsylvania Clean Air Act, the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) as well as the Commonwealth and Board of Governors in Pennsylvania have instituted at Millersville and the other 13 state -run schools.

Repent America sparks debate

Members of Repent America shouted from atop step stools and displayed photos of aborted fetuses as students walked past their protest at three different locations on campus on Thurs., Oct. 9.

The group of approximately 25 is based in Philadelphia and has visited several state universities, including West Chester, Indiana, Lock Haven and Shippensburg.
