I knew when I decided to leave the country for three months that I would miss something-and I did. Just after I left for Portugal, a friend – and a very good friend to Millersville University and the Millersville community passed away.

Americans go through 2.5 million plastic bottles every year and there are a lot of plastic bottles at Millersville. Millersville is very proactive in making numerous bins available to students and faculty to recycle their bottles.

Throughout these times you will never hear anything about gas prices and how they are too high. We have seen gas prices as high as $4.50 a gallon this past summer and the way they are sticking around I would not expect it to change too much to the good old days of around two dollars or less a gallon.

Some would have you believe that there is not a liberal bias and that everyone claiming otherwise are right-wing and just plain paranoid, but this writer knows differently.
