The Millersville Marauders women’s cross country traveled to Mansfield, Pa. this weekend to participate in the PSAC Championships, hoping to make a dent in the leaderboards. The women wouldn’t leave empty-handed.

Shannon Cruz paced Millersville’s team as she finished in 22nd place while Abigail Daley was right behind her in 30th with less than 20 seconds separating them. The two also had the honor of being named Second Team All-PSAC for finishing between 16-30 in the final individual standings.

Cruz was clocked at 22:37.1 while Daley finished with a time of 22:55.5 soon after. The third Marauder to finish was Amanda Long in 83rd at 24:21.4 while Taylour Mauro came in at 88th at 24:38.5 and Emily Leighow rounded out the scoring for Millersville in 91st place at 25:01.7.

As a team, the Marauders finished in 13th out of 17. While Edinboro took the title, Bloomsburg placed second and Shippensburg finished third concluding the top three.
Good luck to the Marauders as they will be traveling to take part in the NCAA Atlantic Regional on Nov. 22 in Slippery Rock, Pa; they prepare to take home more than they had on Saturday.
