This Saturday, April 20, Mini-THON at Millersville University will be hosting a “Carnival for a cure.” All proceeds from this charitable event will go to Four Diamonds. The event is taking place from 12:00-8:00pm at the Student Memorial Center (SMC).

This is Millersville’s fourth annual Mini-THON event, and the theme for this year is a carnival. Throughout the eight hour event, carnival games, food, and more activities will be available to students.

Kids ages 0-17 can get in for free, but students must bring their student ID. Otherwise, admission costs $10.

MU students will have the opportunity this Saturday to play games and raise money for a great cause: funding childhood cancer research (Photo courtesy of Mini-THON at MU’s Facebook page).

The money from the event is all going towards the  organization Four Diamonds which funds research for childhood cancer.

With 16,000 new diagnoses every year, childhood cancer is the most fatal disease. Four Diamonds helps combat this terrible disease by funding research for over 80 pediatric oncology research professionals.

Students interested in attending the event can sign up at http://bit.ly/2oqtiIl.

They can also check out the Mini-THON at MU’s Facebook page.

The event will be a great time to play games and enjoy food while donating towards one of the greatest causes. MU students should definitely check out the Mini-THON’s event this Saturday.
