After nearly two years since Covid-19 began, Millersville University is going all out on its Homecoming Week festivities. Homecoming events will take place on campus, beginning on Oct. 15 and running through Oct. 17. All events require pre-registration to participate. 

On Oct. 16, Millersville will host a Hometown Heroes parade to honor those who helped campus navigate Covid-19. Several student organizations will be represented in the parade. The event will begin on George Street at 8:30 a.m., no admission fee is required. 

Following the parade, a ‘Ville Block Party will be held in the Boyer Parking Lot and Brooks Field from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Millersville alumni, friends and current students are invited to enjoy food trucks, games, live band and the university’s first ever Swan Drop. The Swan Drop is an opportunity to help raise funds for restoration of the university pond. Alumni, students and community members have the opportunity to win prizes through their participation in the Swan Drop. 

At 2 p.m., the Marauders will play Shepherd University on Chryst Field at Biemesderfer Stadium. Cost of admission is $5. Registration is required for attendance.
